The HP 8601A Signal Generator and Sweeper is capable of AM/FM modulated signals from 0.1 to 110 MHz across two ranges. It features sweeping modes such as Full, Video, Symmetrical, or CW (no sweep). An internal 1KHz signal can be modulated in either AM or FM and external modulation is optional for AM.
